Living with, rather than against the rhythms of the world' Joseph Meeker, The Comedy of Survival: Literary Ecology and Play Ethic.
Its taken a while for me to slow down. To feel OK about sometimes needing to sleep in the day. To not feel bad about doing other things, to not always be writing, reading, drawing and thinking about my practice but I have finally let the MA go slow for a moment. I'm now focused on keeping the amazing woman I work for safe and giving as much time as I can to her.
I still swim at Swanpool early every morning then I'm either at work or at home. I plan to print and paint and sort out my workshop but there is time. For now my garden is getting a lot of (much needed) attention.
