Bryher Sketchbook

Diary and sketchbook from wanders on Bryher, September 2021
'It takes a while to settle. Two weeks camping, kayaking, swimming, walking, enjoying the company of good people and I am scattered. But today I open a sketchbook and get out pens, paint and ink. Everything is laid out on the old pallet that is my table. Shells collected from my wanderings are lined up. I arrange flat periwinkles. Whites through to creams, ochres, greys, yellows, rich umbers and almost to black. '
